Gallery of Unusual Wood Bowls by Lou Pignolet

The following bowls are representative examples of my work.  All of these have been sold or presented as gifts to friends or to non-profits for auctions. It is not possible to duplicate these bowls since every piece of wood is unique and created by nature. I turn the wood into bowls to best show the beauty of the wood. I seldom start with a preconceived idea of shape or form. The wood tells me what to do. All burls used in my turnings have been harvested on private land or purchased from local loggers or friends. None are from questionable or unknown sources. Please feel free to copy any of these images!!
